Finnish Meteorological Institute
EPI - European Pollen Information

The Finnish Meteorological Institute has published in the website, free access, some models of atmospheric pollen transport that are under development using the data that aerobiologists provide. It is a very interesting cooperative project that we hope will receive enough support for making that one day, this type of information, will be available for all the allergenic pollen and fungal spores.

At present the information available is for 4 pollen types: ragweed (Ambrosia), birch (Betula), grasses (or Poaceae) and olive (Olea). Animated graphs show the prediction of the content of the given pollen type. The animated graphs show the prediction of the content of the given pollen type. It is still in a beta phase, but it is a very important progress!
