XAC has presented a workshop proposal to participate in the Fira de Recerca en Directe 2020, which will take place in Barcelona from May 6 to 9, 2020, organized by Parc Científic de Barcelona - Universitat de Barcelona.

The most voted project by all of you will have a guaranteed stand at the Fair. You have to vote the 3 projects that you like the most. Voting can be done until December 16.

Do you want to know how we study pollen and fungal spores, how we determine their allergens and how they are linked to the environment?
Knowing the pollen grains, fungal spores and allergens present in the air over time allows us to establish relationships with the weather and the environment, as well as with the health of people (respiratory allergies) and vegetation (phytopathology ). Our researchers will present at the Fair how we analyze the air and a citizen science project where through an App you can map the plants that cause allergies and report the level of risk depending on their status.
 
Come and you can play palinologist! You can prepare and observe samples under a microscope and better understand the relationship between the environment and allergic diseases!
